Though Massachusetts-based drummer and composer Terri Lyne Carrington is best known for her work with Herbie Hancock, she has released several fine albums as a leader. As to Terry Lynn, I will give her a shot. She seems an extraordinary musician (always loved women drummers), but I can't get hooked with her music; I have tried with a couple of other records, but will give her another try with this.
